The fabled SECP Trade Show makes its return this October. We’ve done one for the past several years but this year’s will be very different.

SECP is a community of business service professionals in the creative industry. That includes writers, designers – both print and web – photographers and marketing and PR experts. Our previous trade shows have revolved around our creating collaborative relationships within our membership organization and we would ‘invite’ special guest organizations from the business community – who would be our potential client base – to come and get an inside look what we do and how we work.

This year, we’re focusing more on the business community’s needs.

This year’s trade show will be A One-Stop Shopping Mall of Creative and Technical Professionals where business people can come and see the work of several consultants in one spot where they can compare styles and portfolios and get to know the providers of creative services in the area.

There will be a few workshops:

How to work with creatives
How to determine the right for their business and projects
A segment on contracts

We have a potential keynote speaker lined up who is very dynamic and we’re planning a luncheon with a panel of financial experts talking about cash flow and funding issues.
