SECP's monthly eMail newsletter contains information on upcoming SECP events and other events of interest around town. Member news column highlights successes of our members. Free-Lancers Tips has tips and tactics being used by other self-employed creatives to grow or manage their business. Opportunity News passes on information on local work opportunities that come up.
A basic directory listing includes a name and contact information with a 50-word service description. It's great for those just starting out or who want to dip their toes in the SECP pool. The directory will be searchable online by industry and a printed version will be distributed to members of the business community that hire creative service professionals.
SECP monthly events are only $10 for our members. Starting September 1, 2008 nonmembers pay $15 to attend an event. If a nonmember chooses to join SECP at the time of the event, $5 of their fee is applied to their membership.
Email opportunity alerts. Occasionally, SECP gets time-sensitive opportunities. We immediately send these alerts out to our members so they can respond as quickly as possible.
Discounted business service support with SECP's preferred providers. SECP has rounded up some of the best business consultants who specialize in working with self-employed creatives. Each has offered to work with our members at a discount or with expanded services. To read more...
Quarterly workshops by our business support providers. Our team of hand-picked preferred providers have agreed to do special quarterly workshops just for our members to get their businesses on track and to keep them growing. These quarterly workshops are free to SECP members at the Premium level. Basic members receive a discount to attend.

SECP is committed to raising the visibility and promoting its members to the business community through distributing the SECP Business Services Directory to the business community, through strategic public relations, and through various awareness raising campaigns. $10 discount off Creative Business magazine. To take advantage of this your members can simply indicate their membership and deduct $10 when returning one of our mail solicitations.
